TLC - A Carbon Neutral Company 

Since 1st June 2006 TLC became Carbon Neutral. This means TLC will aim to neutralise the majority of its carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere through the purchase of carbon offsets. Carbon offsets include investment in the planting of trees and renewable technologies such as hydro-electric power and solar power.

The same will become true of TLC promoted nights: TLC will calculate the carbon dioxide emissions generated by the individual ‘clubber’ and commit the necessary financial proportion of his/her total spend to the TLC Carbon Offset Fund. It is our intention for TLC to invest 50% of the fund into its own designated TLC tree plantation and 50% into renewable technologies, both within the UK.

It is our long term goal to revolutionize clubbing and ‘going-out’ in general by making it eco-friendly. This will also encourage clubs, bars and restaurants to adopt the Carbon Neutral policy. This is a revolutionary approach to providing people with entertainment whilst contributing to the environment.

TLC Clubcard Initial Contribution:  for every individual card sold, 5% will be invested in the TLC Fund.
