Terms and Conditions for agreement between the member (‘TLC member’) and TLC (TLC Events Ltd.)

Below are the general terms and conditions for use of the TLC Card website and service. By purchasing an annual membership you accept these Terms and Conditions.

1. The TLC Card has an initial minimum membership period of either 1, 6 or 12 months:

Free One Month Trial Terms and Conditions

i At the end of a free 1 month trial period, you’ll be automatically upgraded to a paid monthly membership for £15 per month. You can opt of of this at any time during your free trial by emailing info@tlcevents.com. No refund will be given after the free trial has expired and monthly charges are made but you can cancel your membership at any given time by emailing info@tlcevents.com.

Annual Payments
i. Annual membership subscription payments are made online via Paypal.
ii. After the member first joins, in compliance with Distance Selling Regulations the member has a 7  day cooling off period in which they are entitled to receive a refund less our administration charge (£10) on their subscription should they decide to cancel. To cancel your membership within 7  days you must contact TLC by email and return your membership card as instructed by TLC Member Services. You will be entitled to a refund of your membership, upon return of your membership card, less our administration charge (£10). After 7 days, no refund will be given.
iii. If a member has signed up to make annual payments through a recurring payment with Paypal, and does not wish to renew their membership for a further year, they must contact TLC by email at info@tlcevents.com in advance of the collection date. No refund will be given after this time.

Monthly Payments
i. Monthly membership subscription payments are made online via Paypal.
ii. After the member first joins, in compliance with Distance Selling Regulations, the member has a 7  day cooling off period in which they are entitled to receive a refund less our administration charge (£10) on their first monthly payment should they decide to cancel. To cancel your membership within 7  days you must contact TLC by email at info@tlcevents.com and return your membership card as instructed by TLC Member Services. You will be entitled to a refund of your membership, upon return of your membership card, less our administration charge (£10). After 7 days, no refund will be given.
iii. 3 months is the minimum membership period, after which cancellation can be made at any time.
iv. To cancel after 3 months members must give written notification to members@tlcevents.com in advance of their monthly collection date. No refund will be given after this time.

Six-Month Payments
i. Six-month membership subscription can be paid for online through Paypal.
ii. When a member wishes to cancel a six-month subscription, they should email TLC at info@tlcevents.com in advance of their collection date. No refund will be given after this time.

Recurring Payments
i.Recurring payments refers to those made online via Paypal, and which will automatically be ongoing unless the member specifically requests for them to be stopped.
ii. Members should always notify the TLC office if they wish to cancel their recurring payment, giving written prior notice before their collection date. You will be entitled to a refund of your membership, upon return of your membership card, less our administration charge (£10). After the collection date, no refund will be given.

Founder Members
For founder members the TLC Card has an initial minimum membership period of 12 months and operates both on a one-off fee basis and recurring basis depending on when you signed up. Some Membership Renewals do not occur automatically. TLC will look to remind you to renew at which time it will be up to you to decide. Some are recurring – please email members@tlcevents.com if you are unsure or check your PayPal account for a subscription to TLC Events.  In compliance with Distance Selling Regulations if you are unhappy with your purchase you have 7 days from the day you bought your Clubcard within which to cancel your membership. To cancel your membership within 7 days you must contact TLC by telephone and return your membership card as instructed by TLC Member Services. You will be entitled to a refund of your membership, upon return of your membership card, less our administration charge (£10). If you wish to cancel your membership after 7 days and subject to any other statutory rights you may have, we will not be obliged to refund you.

2. Our delivery policy is first-class Royal Mail within the UK (at no extra cost) as soon as payment has cleared. Royal Mail aims to deliver most First Class mail by the next working day, including Saturdays. For international delivery or registered post these will be subject to extra cost. Please contact Member Services to arrange this.

3. TLC Cards are not transferable and will only be valid when presented by the correct TLC member. TLC Cards remain the property of TLC Events Ltd. at all times. Any violation will result in the deletion of membership and the member hereby agrees to return cancelled card to TLC head office. Cancelled memberships are non-refundable.

4. TLC members are required to “pre-book” i.e. be placed on the guest list in order to attain certain club entry benefits (see website pages for individual venues and their rules).

5. TLC members must state that they are a TLC member and present a valid membership card at the club they wish to gain discounted entry to. Failure to do this will result in you being charged the standard entry fee.

6. Ensure that your TLC Card is kept securely at all times. Lost or stolen card will only be replaced with a £15 charge (postage included) and can be bought online here.

7. TLC or any of its affiliates will not be held responsible under any circumstances for the misuse of the TLC Clubcard. TLC will not be liable for any damages or losses of any nature whatsoever arising from this agreement.

8. TLC maintains its agreements with all of its partner clubs on a “good faith” basis. However our affiliates have their own policies which supersede the terms of your TLC membership. Therefore TLC is not responsible for any admissions or discount related problems or issues which TLC members may experience. TLC does not guarantee discounts or free entry at any of its affiliate clubs. Clubs reserve the right to refuse entry to any TLC member for various reasons including (but not limited to): having reached full capacity, being intoxicated, being inappropriately dressed, comprising a group which is not mixed male/female ratio, being under the legal age for entry and arriving after the latest entry time. Free entry may not be available during certain periods such as private hire, bank holidays, Christmas and New Year.

9. The TLC website contains the definitive guide to current offers. Members recognise that some clubs may leave the affiliate programme at anytime without warning, whilst others will join. Some clubs may also change the conditions of their offer after you have become a member and we shall have no responsibility for any such changes by clubs. Simply put, your membership will not be refunded if any of the club discounts are no longer available, have changed their offer or have been replaced by other clubs.

10. These Terms and Conditions, and any agreement entered into in connection with the same, shall be interpreted in accordance with the English law and subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

I acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions. I understand that on this acceptance, TLC will produce my TLC Clubcard and that this agreement shall commence upon acceptance. I further understand that these terms and conditions will be updated from time to time and will become effective immediately on publication on this website.
